Original Player Starting INFO (Apr 15, 2012)

* Starting Gold is 1,000; free light horse (combat training), free saddles (pack and ridding), free pathfinder kit…this expedition is being funded.
* Ability score will be determined by 25 point (epic fantasy) point buy.
* You will be permitted THREE background traits but one MUST be from the Kingmaker Player’s Guide
* All Paizo published pathfinder standard races and classes permitted; bestiary races and some non-standard class options (such as “Armature Gunslinger” Feat) require GM approval before hand.



Revised Player Starting INFO (Sep 1, 2012)

- Alignments Available: Any Non-evil. Evil requires DM approval…this group has had issues with evil characters in the past (AKA the “Drakkan incident.”)

- Races Available: All basic races within the Player’s Guide are legal in this Campaign. Races out of “Advanced Race Guide” Chapter 2: Featured Races require DM approval. Chapter 3: Uncommon Races and Chapter 4: Race Builder are unlikely to be approved…but you can still ask.

- Classes Available: All Pathfinder basic and core classes officially published by Paizo are legal expect for Gunslinger…which requires DM approval. All class Archetypes and alternate abilities are authorized expect for the Firearms ones. Prestige classes will require DM approval.

Note: Pathfinder compliant Non-Paizo classes, such as those in “Psionics Unleashed,” are unlikely to be approved.

- Character Traits: +1 trait (maximum three unless you take a feat); the extra " free trait" must be a “Kingmaker Campaign” trait from the Kingmaker Player’s Guide.

- Character Options Available: With the sole exception of Firearms and a few races, assume that every option within the following Paizo published book are legal in this Kingmaker game:

  • Core Rulebook
  • GameMastery Guide
  • Advanced Player’s Guide
  • Advanced Race Guide
  • Ultimate Combat
  • Ultimate Magic
  • Ultimate Equipment
  • Kingmaker Adventure Path

I own these books and am familiar with there content. Options in other Paizo book will most likely be allowed…just let me know what there are so I’m not “blindsided” by something at the table.

- Starting Level: 5th LEVEL

- Starting Gold: 6,000; free light horse (combat training), free saddles (pack and ridding), and free pathfinder kit.

Note: The party received a large bonus for there expedition from the Sword Lords of Restov during a “prequel adventure within the city.” Also, the party is about to make a large sum of gold by selling items looted from the “Stag Lord’s Fort” so I threw in 5,000 extra gold (roughly the amount each player will get.)
